Wealthfront is seeking a mortgage loan operations support team member to join our team as we build and scale our mortgage lending operations. In this role, you will serve as a foundational anchor for the operations team ensuring the systematic integrity of our loan pipeline from the point of loan registration. Your work is vital to delivering a smooth and compliant experience for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to master the mechanics of mortgage lending and contribute to process improvements in a cutting-edge, rapidly growing environment.\nResponsibilities: Register new loan applications in the LOS and with corresponding investor partners. Execute initial rate locks and lock updates based on LO requests, ensuring all lock data (rate, term, program) matches the system of record. Monitor daily pricing changes from the secondary market, monitor LOS system and alert the loan team of any impacts to loans in the pipeline.Undertake various ad-hoc projects to support team efficiencies and process improvements as the organization scales. Identify loan-level discrepancies inside the pipeline and flag them for loan team review to prevent downstream impact. Maintain the integrity of the loan lifecycle by coordinating the precise preparation and issuance of disclosures and documents essential for compliant execution and funding.Prioritize assignments and schedule workload to meet critical deadlines with ability to manage a high volume of loan activity with a high degree of accuracy.Identify loan level discrepancies inside the pipeline and flag for loan team review. Identify and escalate potential compliance violations. Adopts Company values in work behaviors, decision making, contributions and interpersonal interactions.Contributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous development, collaboration, creativity and fun.ExpertiseCustomer-focused, business-centric, and team-oriented mindset; relentlessly passionate about finding and completing valuable workWorking knowledge of regulations including TRIDSelf-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent organizational skills, able to set and meet deadlines in a high paced environmentDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes at all levels of an organizationIntellectually curious and interested in applying technology to enhance business processes Prior experience in retail and brokerage mortgage environmentsExcellent communication skills focusing on both internal and external communicationsOpenness to adapting to industry changesRequirements2 years mortgage experienceStrong mathematical aptitudeAbility to manage multiple projects with high attention to detailProficiency in LOS and PPE systemsUnderstanding of state and federal lending regulationsExperience reviewing and applying agency guidelines and investor overlaysExtensive knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices\nEstimated annual salary range: $44,000 - $55,000 USD plus Equity and a discretionary bonus.Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K plan, generous time off, parental leave, wellness reimbursements, professional development, employee investing discount, and more!About WealthfrontHere at Wealthfront, our mission is to create a financial system that favors people, not institutions.
