About the Role You'll lead a team of 6-8 engineers building products that transform how millions of Americans manage their financial lives — helping people navigate debt, rebuild credit, and regain control. Remove blockers, reduce ambiguity, and build systems that scale beyond your direct involvement. You might be a fit if you have 5+ years of software engineering experience with real technical depth — you can engage meaningfully in architecture discussions, code reviews, and system design. Bonus if you've worked with Python (Flask), TypeScript, Temporal, PostgreSQL, AWS or event-driven systems. 2+ years leading engineering teams, including hiring, performance development, and career growth conversations A track record of shipping products that matter — taking ambiguous problems from definition through delivery. You can point to specific launches and explain the hard tradeoffs you navigated. Evidence of developing engineers — people you've worked with have grown into senior roles or taken on significantly expanded responsibilities. You can name them.
