Our GTM team is currently looking for a Manager, Sales Development to join us! As our Manager, Sales Development, you’ll lead and support a team of highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representatives during a period of rapid-growth at Vanta. These SDRs will be focused on the VMB, SMB and Enterprise segments of our NAMER business. You’ll be integral in shaping our sales organization as we continue to scale, move up market, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in our rapidly growing category of security automation, with Vanta having created the category of automated compliance. This role is hybrid in our San Francisco office 3 days per week. What you’ll do as a Manager, Sales Development at Vanta: Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives, providing them the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results for the business Evolve Vanta’s prospecting playbook by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies that will increase deal sizes, resolve complex use cases, and drive more revenue to the company Grow the Sales Development team at Vanta, through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Sales Development Representatives Create and establish strategic prospecting training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor your direct reports on strategies that can help create pipeline Help to continually foster an inclusive Sales organization representing Vanta’s culture and values Ensure development plans are in place, adapted to each individual, and made useful in a way that ensures the ongoing development of talent within the organization Collaborate cross functionally to drive better outcomes for Vanta’s prospects’ that have headquarters within NAMER Partner with sales leadership on creating an agile organization that believes in using decision frameworks to inform strategic direction but also isn’t afraid to launch, iterate, and redo in order to get the job done How to be successful in this role: Be located in San Francisco, CA and have the ability to commute to the office in a hybrid setting Have 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years of management/leadership experience Offer experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales management Have experience prospecting into various market segments and personas Have stellar problem-solving abilities, thrive working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoy the challenge of making a large impact early on in a start-up environment Possess the technical competency to understand Vanta’s software, the intellectual curiosity to want to learn about the world of governance, risk and compliance, and to build great relationships with highly technical prospects who are willing to rethink the paradigm in how security is achieved, and to enhance and evolve their own security programs What you can expect as a Vanta'n: Industry-competitive salary and equity Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans 16 weeks fully-paid Parental Leave for all new parents Health & wellness stipend Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend Commuter benefits for team members who report to the SF and NYC office Family planning benefits Matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting Flexible PTO policy, plus 80 hours of Sick Time 11 company-paid holidays Virtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events!
