As a Software Engineer for Merchant Services, you will be handed the reins overall delivery of your team and work very closely with business stakeholders and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Along with collaboration with the business and products, you will be in charge of delivering high quality products. Working closely with engineers and product managers, you will be expected to be passionate about maintaining a clean and maintainable code base whether it’s new or existing one. The cherry on top: you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to provide a secure and reliable payment ecosystem for all our merchants.\nWhat You Will DoAttend daily standup meetings, do sprint planning/backlog reviews, communicate project/development status to internal and external teams in a timely fashionAnalyze and estimate product requirements defined by Product Manager/Product OwnerWork with Business, Product, and Dev teams in close coordinationOwn products in terms of quality, stability, and user experienceWhat You Will NeedHave at least 2 years of experience working in backend REST APIWell-versed in Java and Python as plus pointProficient in OOP, SQL, Design Patterns, software best practices, data modeling in relational and/or NoSQL databasesAble to scope and review user stories and make them into an actionable itemHave supportive and high collaborative attitudePassionate in learning new things and taking challengesGood analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and debugging skills\nAbout the TeamThe Merchant Services squad currently consists of passionate engineers based in Jakarta, Singapore, and India.
