The Production Line Worker is responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall production of customer orders. This position encompasses a variety of job tasks including plating, packaging, de-boxing, blending, and sanitation. This position is fast paced and could require team members to remain in a refrigerated environment for the entirety of the shift.Available shiftsWeekday1st shift: Mon-Thurs 5:00am - 3:30pm2nd shift: Mon-Thurs 2:30pm - 12:30amWeekendFri-Sun 4:00am - 5:30pm\nPosition responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Communicate effectively and regularly with team members and leadersAdhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards including food safety and sanitation guidelinesDecant or remove product from packaging in a safe and sanitary mannerComplete equipment sanitation to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are metPortion out ingredients into customer meals in a safe and efficient manner as they pass on the production lineInspect meals for proper labelling and quality standardsPackage meal trays coming off the production line into cases and unitize on a pallet for storage and shippingComplete routine and periodic cleaning of plant environmentKeep pace with the surrounding environment to meet production goals in a safe mannerProduce a safe and quality work output on a consistent basisWork is done inside a kitchen environment that is free from outside weather conditions but maintains a temperature between 30-70 degreesRequired skills and experienceMust be at least 18 years oldPass a post offer drug screen and background checkMust be able to work weekends, holidays, overnights, or OT as requiredMust be able to work a 12-hour shiftBe able to work in varying temperatures between 34˚F - 80˚FBe a team player, including the ability to communicate well with othersAble to work independently with little supervisionFollow detail-oriented instruction Preferred skills and experienceExperience with Good Manufacturing Practices/Food SafetyProduction/Manufacturing experienceBasic Math/Reasoning/Data Entry/Reading ComprehensionHave a strong service orientationPrevious experience working on a production lineExperience working in refrigerated environmentsDemonstrated behaviors consistent with our Core Values of Teamwork, Relentlessly Dependable, Appreciation & Respect, Innovation & Constant Improvement, and Nourishing Our CustomersPhysical requirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb stairs for a 12-hour shiftOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Able to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)Must be able to interact with common food allergens \nCompany OverviewMom’s Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years.
