The Machine Operator will operate, sanitize, and maintain Continuous Cook Ready to Eat (CCRTE) machines and work with team to ensure production needs are met. The production lines have multiple operators, this position will focus on a particular machine/part of the machine but will be expected to rotate/back up other Machine Operators.\nPosition Responsibilities may include, but not limited toMaintain, control, operate, and sanitize machines and equipment used in the Continuous Cook Ready to Eat (CCRTE) operationEnsure machine settings are calibrated and may train/provide guidance to others on how to properly operate equipmentTroubleshoot machine problems, make corrections, and/or coordinate with Manager and Maintenance personnel as needed Work as a team and maintain good communications with other Machine Operators, production line workers, and Quality AssuranceDo some sanitation between products and involves tear down, cleaning, and reassembly of machines; knowledge of sanitation techniques and proper chemical handling, and regular interaction with Quality AssuranceHelp perform Warehouse Runner duties including use of forklift and pallet jackServe as role model regarding GMPs, food safety, general safety, and wearing PPERequired Skills and ExperiencePrior manufacturing experienceMust have excellent performance and attendance recordMust have good food and general safety recordMechanical aptitude/experience is criticalMust read/speak EnglishPreferred Skills and ExperiencePrior machine operation using production processing or packaging experienceScanning and AX/inventory experienceExperience using forklifts and pallet jacksBilingual in SpanishPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)\nCompany OverviewMom’s Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years.
