The Quality Assurance Coordinator provides quality assurance and administrative support in all areas of quality, quality systems, and cold chain including sanitary transportation.  This position requires collaboration with key internal and external customers to drive improvement and increase customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Senior FSQA Manager. The hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.\nPosition Responsibilities may include, but not limited toSupport Mom’s Meals compliance with FSMA Sanitary Transportation.Conduct internal audits to assess compliance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actionsDevelop and deliver food safety training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of food safety excellenceWork cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and supply chain to enhance food safety initiativesCollaborate with Logistics and Tech Services teams to qualify new cold chain sites and aid in resolution of nonconformitiesOrganize and report on audit assessments and recommend an action plan to understand the impact of the assessment gapsAssist in analyzing complaint data and temperature data as it relates to finished products and storage sites to identify trends and opportunities with products and vendors to drive continuous improvementLead and support root cause problem solving tools for investigating complaints for safety and quality compliance issuesAssure programs, policies and procedures are compliant and kept current Trend food safety data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvementAssist Technical Services Management with data reporting activities such as Key Performance Indicators/DashboardsAssist Technical Services with special projects as neededRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Science or at least 3 years’ minimum experience working in the food industry environment with quality systemsUnderstanding of HACCP food hazards such as microbiological, chemical, and physicalFamiliar with FSMA Sanitary TransportationExperience with Electronic Quality Management SystemsGFSI schema training desired (SQF, BRC, etc.)Strong initiative and ability to work as part of a teamStrong verbal communication skillsEffective interpersonal skills Proficient writing skills (proofreading, grammar)Reliable problem solver with strong project management skills  Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work autonomously to conduct audits as neededMust be able to demonstrate proficiency with computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.Preferred Skills and ExperienceExperience in a food storage facility Familiar with FDA and USDA regulations Quality management system or customer relationship management program experiencePhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)\n
