About the Role: Crusoe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing Project Engineering team. This role will focus specifically on the power generation aspects of our large-scale data center projects and digital flare mitigation projects, encompassing electrical and mechanical systems. You will play a critical role in the planning, design, execution, and commissioning of power generation systems, ensuring reliable and efficient power delivery to our data centers. This position requires a strong understanding of power generation technologies, mechanical engineering principles, and project management methodologies. (#INDDIG) What You'll Be Working On: Support the Project Engineering team in the development and execution of power generation projects, from concept to commissioning. Contribute to the design and specification of power generation systems, including generators, switchgear, transformers, piping systems, heat exchangers, pumps, and associated auxiliary systems. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering firms, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project success. Perform detailed engineering calculations and analyses related to power systems, including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination. Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Support the commissioning and testing of power generation systems, ensuring proper operation and performance. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in power generation. Contribute to the development of engineering standards and procedures. Foster a safe and collaborative work environment. What You'll Bring to the Team: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Construction Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in power generation project engineering, preferably in large-scale projects. Strong understanding of power generation technologies, including turbine generators, diesel generators, natural gas generators, and renewable energy sources. Extensive experience with rotating equipment, specifically aeroderivative or industrial turbines. Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI) Proficient project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with site supervision and construction management is a plus. Experience in data center power and mechanical systems is a plus. Ability to travel as needed.
