This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls to protect our information assets from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity, as well as experience in leading and managing a team of security professionals.\nWhat you'll do:Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program, including policies, procedures, and controlsOversee the monitoring of our systems and networks for security breaches and investigate any incidents that occurConduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and prioritize security risksStay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and recommend and implement appropriate security measuresManage the cybersecurity budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectivelyCollaborate with other departments to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of our business operationsProvide regular reports to senior management on the status of our cybersecurity programLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionalsConduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career path development for direct reportsFoster a collaborative and motivating team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvementManage team workload, project prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure strategic goals are metParticipate in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new team members to build team capabilitiesWhat we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related fieldA minimum of 5 years of experience in a hands-on cybersecurity roleA minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management position, with direct supervisory responsibilitiesProven experience in developing and implementing a corporate cybersecurity strategy and program from the ground upHands-on experience with incident response, threat hunting, and security investigationsDeep understanding of network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, and vulnerability managementExpert knowledge of current cyber threats, attack methodologies, and mitigation strategiesStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and lead a team effectivelyBonus points for: Experience with securing cloud environments (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)Experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment, including the security of Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA/ICS systemsExperience with implementing and managing security programs aligned with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMCProfessional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GIACKnowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into the software development lifecycleMust-have requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsPerform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of timeWillingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-callWork in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics\n$110,000 - $185,000 a yearSalary range for this full-time position + equity + benefits. The actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience.
