The Quant Trading team is responsible for trading and managing risks associated with different crypto products, including spots and derivatives. The team develops and implements trading strategies in fast-paced and complex trading environments.About the role:We are looking for an Senior Associate/ Director in Trading Desk Operations to join our trading team.  You will help on the operational side of the trading desk, supporting trading and funding operations and streamlining processes to support the growth of our Trading business. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the trade life cycle for the particular trading desk you will support.\nResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated end-to-end trade support to assigned trading desks, perform trade bookings, trade verifications, balance and position reconciliations, P&L attributionsTroubleshoot operational bottlenecks, delays, and other problems presented throughout the trade life cycleUsing coding, develop and enhance booking and reconciliation proceduresReal-time monitoring and escalation on risk positions against internal thresholds and develop new monitoring tools for the deskDesign and develop booking model for new products and corresponding checks and reconciliationsSet up of new accounts and trading books, maintain data integrity and data mappingPerform funding operations and settlement checks, investigate and resolve fund transfer issues, liaising internally with Treasury or with external brokersReview funding usage and manage internal capital distribution recordsAssist in analysis of trading performance, P&L and risk attributionAssist promptly in adhoc/urgent requests from the trading desks relating to trade bookings or funding requestsEngage with developers on projects that further enhance system infrastructure and controlsRequirementsDegree holder in Finance/Accounting or Quantitative discipline5+ years of working experience on the Trading floor as Trading Assistant or Trade Support or in relevant functions such as Middle Office, Product Control in a financial services or crypto trading firmHave working knowledge in Python and an interest to expand your technical skillsExcellent problem solving skills, detailed oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracyPositive and proactive, critical thinker who strives for continuous improvementA product owner, results oriented, think outside of the box and can deliver under pressureThrive to work in a dynamic environment, passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain\nWhy we do itHere at Crypto.com we are committed to creating an environment where internal talent is recognised and career growth and opportunities are presented to everyone in a fair and transparent way.We want everyone to feel empowered in taking ownership of their careers and openly encourage our people leaders to nurture and develop Talent within their teams and across the organisation to realise our true ambition of being here for good.Our colleagues around the world are our biggest asset and we want our people to be able to grow their careers with us, making it easy to move internally as easily as it is to move externally.Internal Transfer Policy click here.Life @ Crypto.com Empowered to think big.
