You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.\nJob SummaryThe Senior QA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying defects and improving test processes. The Senior QA Engineer will collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to drive quality assurance best practices and support continuous integration and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks for functional, and regression testing.Lead testing efforts for complex features and critical product components, ensuring high reliability and performance.Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define clear quality criteria and testing requirements.Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create effective test strategies and plans.Identify, report, and track defects using test management tools, advocating for timely resolution with the development team.Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements within the QA team.Stay updated on emerging QA technologies, tools, and trends, incorporating best practices into testing processes.Communicate test results, risks, and quality status clearly to stakeholders.Required QualificationsProven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with significant exposure to multiple testing methodologies.Strong expertise in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Python, Java).Experience with API testing (REST, WebSocket) and understanding of blockchain or fintech environments is a plus.Solid knowledge of agile development processes, CI/CD workflows.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Proven ability to thrive in an English-speaking, collaborative work environment.Demonstrated ability to adopt and utilize AI-powered tools to improve work efficiency, with a continuous learning mindset and interest in emerging AI technologies.\nLife @ Crypto.comEmpowered to think big.
