This role is pivotal in bridging traditional finance with Web3 dynamics, contributing to the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our finance operations.You will lead initiatives in crypto accounting, support system implementations, and guide a team that ensures smooth financial processes in a fast-evolving digital asset environment.\nResponsibilities:Oversee and manage crypto and token accounting processes, from transaction flows to ledger reconciliation.Drive crypto accounting system implementations and optimizations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Product, Legal, Operations) to design robust processes for Web3 financial transactions.Lead and mentor a crypto accounting sub-team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and continuous learning.Monitor, evaluate, and improve financial controls around digital assets and blockchain-based activities.Stay ahead of regulatory, tax, and compliance developments impacting crypto and finance reporting.Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate reporting of all crypto-related activities.Requirements:Professional background in finance/accounting with proven experience in crypto/blockchain transactions.Strong understanding of crypto transaction flows, wallets, exchanges, and DeFi protocols.Demonstrated experience driving system implementations (finance/ERP/crypto accounting platforms).Solid problem-solving skills: the ability to simplify complexity and design efficient workflows.Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Excellent communication skills, both to technical specialists and non-finance stakeholders.Team player and people leader, with experience managing or mentoring junior colleagues.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) or equivalent.Prior experience in a crypto-native company, Web3 project, or digital asset finance team.Exposure to international working environments and multi-entity structures.\nThe Perks of Joining Animoca Brands:A Vibrant and Diverse Workplace: Immerse yourself in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment with colleagues from over 15 nationalities (and growing!).
