They have a solid knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, and technical training best practices. They must possess a strong bias for action and an unwavering commitment to making our internal and external customers and partners successful. \nDesign and develop effective learning solutions that address knowledge and/or performance gaps for customers and partners.Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning and produce impactful results. Generate scripts, storyboards, and prototypes of training content to be reviewed and approved by key stakeholders. Leverage various multimedia approaches and authoring tools to create interactive online learning experiences.Create and update curriculum to be delivered in multiple modalities including online, instructor-led, and virtual instructor-led training.Ensure course materials meet quality standards and align with writing and style guidelines.Effectively own content development projects and collaborate with SMEs, curriculum managers and other internal stakeholders, as well as ILT content delivery teams. 2+ years of curriculum management, learning experience, and/or instructional design experience in a corporate training environment. SaaS experience preferred.2+ years of experience in adult learning, organizational development, or professional training programs.BA or BS degree in Education, Instructional Design, or another relevant field.Strong understanding of instructional design process, knowledge transfer methods, curriculum, and taxonomy.Experience with a variety of applications (Microsoft Office) and authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia).Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information and convert it into easily understandable and engaging learning content.Demonstrated ability to assess learning needs and develop media-rich, engaging, and high-impact learning solutions.Strong organizational and project management skills with a sense of ownership and the ability to successfully execute on deliverables.Excellent internal relationship-building skills and ability to drive effective communication, collaboration, and commitment across disparate groups with competing priorities.Outstanding writing and editing skills, and attention to detail.\nCoupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
