In this leadership position, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our sophisticated AI orchestration platform that leverages Large Language Models and integrates with various Model Context Protocol tools. You'll build and manage a high-performing team focused on delivering Coupa-specific intelligence through strategic integration of internal systems, knowledge bases, and custom tooling, ultimately enhancing developer productivity and experience across the organisation.\nWhat You'll Do: Lead and grow a team of engineers focused on developer experience and productivity through AI-powered toolsSet the technical vision and roadmap for our AI orchestration platform and MCP tools architectureDrive architectural decisions focusing on scalability, maintainability, and adoption across engineering teamsOversee the development of integration mechanisms connecting our AI platform with MCP systems while providing a unified interfaceGuide the implementation of RAG systems to incorporate Coupa's institutional knowledge into AI decision-makingEstablish security standards for connectors to internal documentation, systems, and data sourcesChampion the development of domain-specific tools that understand Coupa's unique operational environmentPartner with senior leadership to align developer experience initiatives with broader engineering and business goalsMentor team members, foster a culture of innovation, and contribute to engineering best practicesMeasure and improve developer productivity metrics across the organization What You Will Bring to Coupa: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in technical leadership rolesStrong track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teamsExperience architecting and implementing developer productivity tools and platformsDeep understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly in the context of LLMs and their applicationsProven ability to drive technical strategy and execution in cloud-native environments (preferably AWS)Strong proficiency in Python and RESTful API developmentSolid knowledge of software design patterns, system architecture, and performance optimisationExperience with integration of multiple complex systems and APIsExceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nCoupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
