By partnering with leading technology providers, we craft transformative digital experiences that enhance customer engagement and drive business success.This is a hybrid role based in Montreal, QC, with 3 days in office.\nInformation Security ResponsibilitiesPromote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocolsIdentify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assetsUnderstand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive informationResponsibilities:Design, implement, and manage data pipelines to process and transform data from various sources.Develop and maintain ETL processes and data models to ensure data quality and integrity.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any data-related issues.Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and industry standards.Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.Hands-on experience with one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, Sybase, or Snowflake.Knowledge of ETL toolsExperience with Data Migration from Rest API to SnowflakeExperience in storing, managing, and analyzing Unstructured DataStrong proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and experience with data modeling.Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions.Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Nice to have:Tibco Data Visualization (TDV)Crytal Reports\nWe invite you to stay connected with us by subscribing to our monthly job openings alert here.Bounteous is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
