You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across software products with engineers all over the company and globe to plan and deploy product releases.We are looking for an extremely talented Lead Software Engineer to join our Technology Platform Team. You will be part of a global agile group that is responsible for building the best in class SaaS platform, deployment infrastructure, and services. The position will require a candidate to design, develop, maintain, and scale Coupa’s platform systems, services, and operational automation. Our main languages are Ruby and Go, and we expect you to be able to contribute in either.\nWhat You'll Do: Act as a hands-on contributor, designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling Coupa’s platform systems and servicesBuild reusable microservices, platform components, and frameworks to support standardized data flows (APIs, files, message queues)Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and operational design to ensure high-quality, scalable solutionsPromote engineering best practices including unit testing, automation, and clean code principlesCollaborate closely with other teams to simplify deployment, operations, and integration of platform componentsDrive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to the platform, processes, and overall businessWhat You Will Bring to Coupa: 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 4 years as a Senior Software EngineerProficient in modern MVC web frameworks, especially Ruby on Rails, and programming languages like Ruby and GoHands-on experience with cloud-native architecture and technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS EC2, and similar elastic cloud platformsSkilled in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB) and high-throughput messaging systems like Kafka or ResqueStrong understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceExtra considerations:Experience managing and enhancing CI/CD pipeline software/tools, such as JenkinsExperience with Docker\n226,000 zł - 317,133 zł a year\nCoupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
