The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API testing and automation, excellent coding skills, and hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable marketplace solutions.\nResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs and web applicationsLead API testing efforts, including functional, integration, regression, and contract testingBuild and enhance API automation suites with robust validation and reportingDevelop end-to-end automation using Playwright with TypeScriptWrite clean, maintainable, and scalable test automation code following best practicesCollaborate closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to understand requirements and identify test scenariosDrive shift-left testing practices and ensure test coverage early in the development lifecycleReview test cases, automation code, and provide mentorship to junior SDETsParticipate in CI/CD pipeline integration and ensure automation runs as part of release pipelinesProactively identify quality risks and drive improvements in testing strategies and processesRequirements:4+ years of experience in Software Testing/SDET rolesStrong expertise in API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP, authentication mechanisms)Proven experience in API automation frameworksExcellent coding skills with TypeScript / JavaScriptHands-on experience with Playwright for UI automationStrong understanding of test design patterns, automation best practices, and SDET principlesExperience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST clients, or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologiesNice to Have:Experience testing marketplace platforms, integrations, or third-party APIsKnowledge of contract testing (Pact or similar)Experience with performance testing of APIsExposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)Experience mentoring or leading QA initiatives\nEEO Statement:The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
