As a Trainee Dispenser Assistant, the purpose of this role is to support the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of prescriptions within a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. You will help ensure that all prescriptions are processed to the required standards, performance targets are met, and workflow is maintained efficiently throughout the day. Following successful completion of your probation period, you will be required to undertake and complete the Level 2 NVQ Dispensing Assistant course. Dispensing all prescriptions received each day with accuracy and efficiency Supporting the clinical team with day‑to‑day operational tasks Following dispensary procedures and meeting internal quality and accuracy targets Working effectively in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment Meeting individual and team performance targets to support business goals Taking ownership of prescription labelling and ensuring accuracy at all times Collaborating with key teams across the business, including customer service, purchasing, operations and pharmacists Contributing to a positive, friendly and supportive working environment Who are we looking for? Confident with numbers and comfortable using IT systems, Able to prioritise workload, stay organised and work accurately under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates initiative, proactivity and a positive approach to problem‑solving Experienced in working within a highly accurate, fast‑paced environment Familiar with working to legal, ethical and professional standards Holds GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above What happens next?
