Grade Level: L2 Location: Islamabad Last date to Apply: 16th February, 2026   What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Cloud Platform Expert (Design & Automation) We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve Garaj’s multi-platform cloud. This role focuses on expanding the platform, contributing to the design and ongoing development of Garaj’s Cloud Management Platform (CMP), as well as working on platform architecture, implementation, and innovation. Responsibilities: Design and implement a multi-platform cloud architectures spanning VMware, OpenShift, OpenStack, and future platforms Contribute to the development, design, and evolution of Garaj’s Cloud Management Platform (CMP) Work with internal teams and external vendors to guide CMP development and platform integrations Build reusable, automated platform components and reference architectures Drive Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD-based workflows for platform lifecycle management Drive the integration of new cloud and platform technologies into Garaj’s ecosystem Design platform capabilities for containerized, data, and AI/ML workloads Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and drive platform innovation Maintain comprehensive documentation for reference architectures, network topologies, implementation plans, and more Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, DevOps engineers, and application developers, to ensure a secure and efficient VMware cloud environment. Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues regarding network, security, and protocol matters. Jazz is an equal opportunity employer. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2–3 years of overall experience across DevOps, AI/ML, and cloud engineering roles At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with cloud platforms at a service provider scale or otherwise large-scale environments Strong foundation in virtualization, containers, networking, and storage Proven experience with DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines Proficiency with Linux systems and scripting (Python/Bash) Working experience with software development concepts, APIs, and system integration Ability to collaborate with or manage external development teams Experience with VMware, Kubernetes/OpenShift, OpenStack, or public cloud platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Experience contributing to or managing development of web-based applications Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud environments Experience supporting AI/ML or data platforms Experience building automation workflows using tools like n8n and more Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
