Grade Level: L1 Location: Islamabad What is Specialist Digital Products & Services Development? We as Specialist Digital Products & Services Development are responsible for serving as liaisons between the all the departments and the IS&T organization. We collect, analyze, develop, document, communicate business requirements, and support user testing to achieve business goals. The structure of the team you will join is: A 10-member team (including the department head) with 02 sub teams. You will be part of a 03-member sub-team reporting to the Manager Digital Solutions.  What does Specialist Digital Products & Services Development do? Identify problems within a business. Coordinating with internal and external stake holders. Designing new Digital solutions. Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research. Oversee the implementation of new Digital technology and systems. Leading new Digital initiatives. Jazz is an equal opportunity employer. Masters Degree and Relevant Certifications will be a Plus. Have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Software Development life cycle. Digital Solution knowledge and Experience. Open source technologies. Strong proficiency with JavaScript. Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks and libraries. Good understanding of server-side templating languages. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3. Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Experience with common front-end development tools. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Proficient understanding with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN. Developing new rest-full services for user-facing features using NodeJS. Building reusable components and server side/front-end libraries for future use. Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Ensures all code has been unit tested prior to QA, including interfaces with other systems. Adheres to development best practices that have been established by the organization. Writes documentation supporting the implementation of the solution. Good understanding of React.js and its core principles. Experience with data structure libraries. Experience with RESTful APIs Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Experience with common front-end development tools. Experience as an Android Mobile Application developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines Experience in publishing an application on Google Play Store Proven work experience in design patterns, mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP Familiarity with RESTful API’s to effectively integrate Android applications and various testing tools Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application and identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces such as “touch” Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, cloud message API’s and push notifications, and continuous integration.
