Assistant Management Accountant | 14-Month FTC | Shoreham-by-Sea About the Opportunity Focus Group is seeking an analytical and driven Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team on a 14-month fixed-term contract at our Shoreham office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across group reporting, management accounts, and ERP implementation while working with a supportive and dynamic team. What You'll Be Doing Core Responsibilities Own key processes in the production of Group management accounts, including critical reconciliations and reporting maintenance Lead the preparation of Focus South management accounts, working closely with the Focus South Finance Manager Analyze financial performance - dive into margins, overheads, and variances to budget and forecast, providing clear insights and commentary Support group consolidation at month-end, ensuring accuracy across acquisitions and balance sheet reconciliations Contribute to transformation by supporting the development and processes of our new D365 ERP system Deliver ad-hoc management reporting, meeting minutes, and transaction analysis What We're Looking For Essential ✓ Understanding of management accounts and financial principles ✓ Self-starter with strong prioritization skills and the ability to thrive under pressure ✓ Analytical mindset with a talent for working through complexity ✓ Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with large spreadsheets ✓ Team player who collaborates effectively across the business Desirable ✓ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ✓ Comfortable working with large data volumes across multiple systems ✓ Holds or studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) Why Join Focus Group?
