Spa Receptionist/Therapist The Role: The ideal candidate shall provide an exceptional experience to all spa guests by managing appointments, handling inquiries, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role is essential in upholding the spa’s image and fostering a professional, welcoming atmosphere. The successful candidate must also possess strong knowledge of spa therapies and treatments and is expected to actively support and assist in the delivery of spa services to ensure full operational coverage. Some of the responsibilities: Guest Services Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spa therapies and treatments to support team functionality and uphold service excellence. Handling guests warmly, creating a positive first & last impression. Provide information on spa services, treatments, and pricing, answering any questions guests may have. Guide guests through the check-in and check-out processes, including any pre- or post-treatment protocols. Maintain guest confidentiality and respect privacy at all times. Appointment Management Schedule spa appointments, using the booking system to maximize spa efficiency and availability. Confirm reservations, inform guests of cancellation policies, and handle any last-minute appointment adjustments. Coordinate with therapists and team members to ensure timely service for all bookings. Customer Relations Foster positive relationships with guests, remembering repeat customers’ preferences when possible. Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues to the Spa Manager if needed. Encourage guests to provide feedback on their spa experience and assist with any follow-up actions. Sales & Promotions Promote current spa packages, seasonal offers, and retail products. Actively engage guests in product knowledge to encourage sales of spa retail items. Useful to have: High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality diploma is a plus. Previous experience in a spa, beauty center, or hospitality environment preferred. A thorough knowledge of spa therapies, services, and products is a requirement too. Knowledge of the English language, a second language will be considered a plus. Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with scheduling software or point-of-sale (POS) systems. What you will bring: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with professionalism. A problem-solving approach with an eye for detail as the ability to think on one’s feet and address challenges.
