Systems Engineer Location : Whiteley/Hybrid Clearance Requirements:  Current SC clearance, or the ability to gain SC clearance . We are recruiting a systems engineer to support the development of an ATM system. This is an opportunity to work on an exciting programme delivering critical services and infrastructure key to the future of UK Air Traffic Management. The successful candidate does not need to be familiar with ATM (although it would be an advantage) as on-the-job training will be provided as required. high quality to wide range of challenging problems. They will work as part of an agile team performing all aspects of systems engineering throughout the development life cycle to meet sprint milestones. Required Skills: Experience of requirements management and associated software (e.g. DOORS) Experience of systems architecture within a real-time and/or safety-related system and/or mission critical environment  Experience of the complete system life cycle from problem definition through to deployment Experience of the ability to work as part of a Multi-functional product team (Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Test, Engineering Management) Enthusiastic self-starter with good attention to detail and verbal communication skills. Excellent written communication through the use of e-mail, presentations and reports Understanding of various development methodologies Ability to work with due attention to schedule and cost constraints Desired Skills: Experience of Atlassian tools (e.g. Jira, Crucible, Confluence) Experience of working with external stakeholders and suppliers, working across organisational boundaries as appropriate Knowledge of Air Traffic Management within the UK Knowledge of systems / software design tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeller) Knowledge of Control and Monitoring technologies (e.g. SNMP v2c, SNMP v3) Who We Are: Leidos UK & Europe – we work to make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient through technology, engineering and science. Pay Range: £47,600.00-£61,000.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
