Leidos’ Defense Rapid Integration and Prototyping Department is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. Primary Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for leading designs and working within multi-discipline teams to develop and execute challenging tasks.  The candidate will produce technical data packages including part drawings, assembly drawings, source control documents, and interface control documents per ASME Y14. Basic Qualifications BS degree in engineering with 4+ of experience or Masters degree with 2+ years of experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 8+ years of applicable experience in design and/or analysis of mechanical systems including technical data package production per ASME Y14.100 & Y14.5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
