Leidos   was awarded   the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared   Services   contract,   and   currently has   an opening for a   Digital Platform Manager .   This position   supports management of environments and tools in support of   digital software   offerings   ac ross multiple   clouds   AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds.   This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience   to   modernize a leading , global-scale   multi-cloud environment   in support of a critical mission, supporting USAF system resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.     Location:      T his position   will be   hybrid   remote. Candidates   will   be required   to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be   located   near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA) .     Primary Responsibilities   Include:     We are   seeking   a highly capable   D igital   Platform   as a Service ( DPaaS )   Manager . This individual will   be responsible for   managing a team as well as contributing as an individual by   operating   and maintaining the Digital Platform as a Service.       ​ ​ Lead a team of system architects/engineers both Leidos personnel and subcontractors to fulfill the requirements for the program    Provide the customer support on infrastructure, tools; and provisioning of new tools and users.   Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across   the Virtual Private   C loud   (VPC)   networks     Configure and   maintain   the   DPaaS   environments    Develop, update/patch, assess, integrate,   deploy   and   maintain   digital software   (e.g., Cameo, Teamwork Cloud Server, DOORS, AFSIM, Atlassian tools,   Sparx   EA, MATLAB)   ​ Assist   the Government   with the risk management framework   in providing continuous monitoring of the D igital   P latform   as a Serv ice ( DPaaS ) environment   Optimize   digital   software   performance and reliability in cloud environments    ​ E valuate   digital software and   alternatives including cost and risk,   supportability   and analyses for total systems. Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.   Manag e,   maintain , and   monitor   shared   VPC network environments   aligned with organization   objectives   and technical requirements as part   of   the data protection service s   Collaborate   with cross-functional teams including development, operations, security, and product management    ​ Implement network segmentation, Zero Trust principles and   policy based   access controls     Technical Leadership   Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions    ​Present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership    ​Mentor, guide and supervise teams on   DPaaS   solutions/activities   Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions    Act as the   DPaaS   manager   for   Leidos   to assess employee performance, hire new employees, and ensure compliance with corporate training requirements   for 7-10   Leidos   personnel       Minimum   Qualifications   Bachelors   and   5+ years   of experience;   Masters   and   3+ years   of experience.   Additional   experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.   2 + years of prior experience managing/leading teams/projects   Active Secret clearance at a minimum required to start US citizenship   required   Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)   Certifications: One or more cloud c ertification   ​Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in a customer-facing position    ​Administration experience with cloud-based applications    ​​Excellent verbal and written communications skills.    Experience with the   installation   & deployment of digital software tools such as Cameo, Teamwork Cloud Server, DOORS, AFSIM, Atlassian tools,   Sparx   EA, MATLAB   ​ Experience with various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings        Preferred Qualifications   Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1     Cloud certifications   in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle clouds   Experience with multiple CSPs/Clouds    Certification   Examples -   ​AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) ,   Azure Solutions Architect (Expert) ,   ​MCSE (Server), Certified AWS   SysAdmin , AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Dev/Associate), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, AWS Certified Security, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect    If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
