We are looking for a skilled Linux System Administrator to manage and support enterprise-level Red Hat and Ubuntu environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ensuring system security and uptime across production and development infrastructure. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain RHEL and Ubuntu servers (physical and virtual). Perform system updates, patch management , and performance optimization. Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions following IT security policies. Configure and support web servers (Apache, Nginx) , database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL) , and file servers (NFS, Samba) . Implement LVM, RAID , and disk management for storage solutions. Manage and monitor network configurations (DNS, DHCP, firewall, IP tables). Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell/Bash scripting or Python . Configure and manage backup and recovery processes using rsync, tar, or snapshot tools. Maintain and troubleshoot boot issues, kernel updates, and services . Monitor system health and performance using Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana , or similar tools. Enforce security hardening (SELinux, firewalld, patching, access control). Support virtualization and cloud environments (VMware, KVM, AWS, or Azure). Participate in incident management, problem management , and change management processes. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
