Astrome Technologies is a deep-tech company based in Bangalore, pioneering next-generation wireless communication solutions for aerospace and telecom applications. We are iDEX winners and have developed innovative flat panel antennas and satellite communication systems for defense and commercial sectors. Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and take ownership of the creation, organization, and maintenance of technical documentation for our telecom and space communication products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, especially in the telecom domain, and be well-versed with industry standards and tools. Key Responsibilities: ● Develop, write, and maintain high-quality documentation including user manuals, system specifications, installation guides, integration documents, release notes, and FAQs. ● Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and structured documentation. ● Ensure all documentation aligns with company branding and adheres to industry-standard writing guidelines and style guides. ● Organize documents in a version-controlled repository and maintain document lifecycle through updates and reviews. ● Create visual aids (diagrams, workflows, etc.) to support documentation. ● Assist in preparing technical content for proposals and customer communications when needed. Required Qualifications & Skills: ● Bachelor’s degree in English, Engineering, Communications, or a related field. ● Minimum 4 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a technology or engineering organization. ● Experience with documentation tools like Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Office, or similar. ● Familiarity with standard documentation styles such as DITA, IEEE, or other structured writing methodologies. ● Ability to understand and communicate technical subjects clearly to different audiences. ● Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience writing technical content for wireless communication products or solutions is an advantage. ● Exposure to space communication systems, networking protocols, or RF systems is a plus. ● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
