We are seeking a Policy Specialist to support the implementation and operations of ICT policies across government. This role combines technical knowledge with policy operations to ensure effective policy delivery and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Policy Operations & Support Provide level 1 support to manage, triage and respond to policy-related queries and clarification requests from stakeholders. Maintain and update policy portals and knowledge bases. Draft email advisories and circulars to communicate policy updates, clarifications, and implementation guidelines to government agencies. Collect relevant data to analyse common policy queries to identify areas for improvement. Coordinate stakeholder workshops and engagement sessions for policy communication. Prepare regular reports on policy implementation and operational metrics. Technical Support & Innovation Maintain and enhance policy AI chatbot capabilities. Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement. Stakeholder Management Liaise with technical teams and policy stakeholders. Support policy communication and change management initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 2-3 years of experience in ICT systems and projects Good understanding of ICT infrastructure, Cloud, AI technologies and applications. Professional certifications in these areas would be a bonus. Demonstrated experience in technical writing and documentation. Required Work Experience: Experience in ICT governance or policy implementation (preferred) Experience in policy writing and technical related documentation (preferred) Knowledge of government ICT policies and frameworks Familiarity with AI chatbot maintenance (e.g. training the chatbot with data and instructions) Experience in stakeholder management Key Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills Customer service orientation Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Additional Skills: Proficiency in content management systems Understanding of automation tools and technologies Join us and discover a meaningful and exciting career with Assurity Trusted Solutions!
