At Mindera, we are building a fantastic team, and we would love for you to join us as a Backend Engineer specializing in Stibo STEP and Product Information Management (PIM). We are a forward-thinking organization delivering best-in-class product experiences across multiple channels. Our technology stack includes Stibo STEP PIM/MDM, Java backend services, and integrations with ERP/eCommerce platforms . We are looking for a skilled PIM Engineer to manage product data, optimize workflows, and ensure data integrity across systems. Role Overview: As a PIM Engineer , you will design, build, configure, and maintain Product Information Management (PIM) solutions using Stibo STEP . You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure product data is accurate, consistent, and efficiently integrated across systems. This role combines technical backend development with PIM expertise , enabling scalable and reliable product data management. Key Responsibilities Configure, customize, and extend the Stibo STEP PIM platform , defining entities, attributes, workflows, business rules, and data models. Develop Java backend components and integration logic connecting STEP with external systems such as ERP, e-commerce platforms, and CRM systems. Implement data import/export processes and manage data transformations (XML, JSON, CSV). Design, develop, and maintain REST or SOAP APIs for system integrations. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot data quality, performance, and security issues . Participate in Agile development processes , including sprint planning, code reviews, and documentation. Support production and staging environments , including deployments, monitoring, and alerting. Maintain version control using Git , ensuring adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and deliver high-quality solutions on time . Mentor and guide junior engineers in PIM processes and Java development best practices . Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in Stibo STEP PIM/MDM , including configuration, workflows, business rules, and data models. Solid Java backend development experience (Core Java, Java EE, or similar frameworks). Hands-on experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations . Strong data skills: SQL, database design, handling large product catalogs, and import/export processes . Familiarity with scripting (JavaScript, XML, JSON, CSV) for data transformations and business rules. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments . Experience with version control tools (Git) and collaboration platforms like JIRA and Confluence.
