Job Summary Responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) programs to support SMT production lines. The role focuses on improving inspection accuracy, reducing false calls, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Create and optimize AOI programs for SMT production lines. Set up, fine-tune, and validate AOI machines for new and existing PCB assemblies. Analyze AOI results and implement actions to reduce false calls and improve detection accuracy. Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities related to inspection performance. Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve defects and improve yield. Maintain documentation related to AOI programs, machine settings, and inspection records. Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering. Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in AOI system programming. Experience with multiple AOI brands is an advantage. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of SMT processes and PCB assembly. Ability to read and understand schematics, BOMs, and Gerber files. Understanding of IPC standards is a plus. Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail. Good teamwork and communication skills. English proficiency: Intermediate
