Sigma Defense is seeking a Mid-Level ASW Weapons Analyst to support the U.S. Navy Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (SHAREM) at Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) in San Diego, CA.   Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled: Sigma Defense Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability. 10+ years of Navy experience relating to ship/submarine/aircraft operations and warfare tasks specifically including exercise weapons firings. 3+ years of experience planning exercise activities on Navy training ranges. 3+ years of experience analyzing the results of ASW weapons firings. Capability for preparation of briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct. Possession of excellent analytical problem-solving skills. Must be a U.S. citizen. Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate. Essential Job Duties ( not all-inclusive) Observes and supports at-sea firings of weapons in naval exercises. Extracts weapon firing data from all available sources. Reconstructs weapon firing data to formulate accurate assessments of weapon performance, surface combatant, or air delivery attack proficiency, and surface combatant evasion tactics. Communicates exercise results, orally and in written format, to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices. Assists providing insight during ad hoc weapons meetings, workshops, and conferences. Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
