À propos du rôle À titre d’analyste en fusions et acquisitions, vous jouerez un rôle clé au sein de notre équipe d’investissement et serez exposé à l’ensemble du cycle de vie des transactions M&A — de l’identification des opportunités à l’analyse et à la rationalisation des investissements, jusqu’à la phase de détention, aux opérations et à la stratégie des sociétés du portefeuille. Plus précisément, vos responsabilités incluront : Identifier des entreprises correspondant aux critères d’investissement d’Helios et développer/entretenir des relations avec leurs fondateurs Réaliser des modèles financiers, des analyses de valorisation et des analyses de scénarios afin de soutenir ou d’infirmer les thèses d’investissement, y compris la préparation de documents destinés au comité d’investissement et à la haute direction Effectuer la diligence raisonnable financière, commerciale et opérationnelle des entreprises cibles Identifier des initiatives de création de valeur et contribuer à l’élaboration de la stratégie et des objectifs des sociétés du portefeuille Gérer des équipes transversales dans le cadre des intégrations post-acquisition Ce poste représente une excellente occasion pour un professionnel de la finance en début de carrière de développer son expertise en investissement, tout en étant exposé à l’amélioration opérationnelle et à la création de valeur. We are seeking ambitious people who are entrepreneurial and willing to grow with our portfolio as it evolves.  About the Role As an M&A Analyst, you will play a crucial part of our investment team with a full view of the M&A lifecycle from deal origination to investment rationalizing and analysis, all the way to ownership and portfolio operations and strategy. Specifically, you will be responsible for: Identifying companies that meet the Helios investment criteria and developing/maintaining relationships with founders Conducting financial modeling, valuation and scenario analysis to support or disprove investment theses, including the preparing materials for investment committee and senior leadership review Performing financial, commercial and operational due diligence on target companies Identifying value creation initiatives and support setting portfolio company strategy and objectives Managing cross-functional teams in post-acquisition integrations This role is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to hone their investment expertise, while also providing exposure to driving operational improvements and value creation. Ideal Candidate Profile 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, management consulting, or a related role (experience in the software industry is a plus, but not required) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or Science, with a strong academic background and involvement in extracurricular activities Solid financial acumen, including proficiency in financial analysis and valuation Strong attention to detail, with good time management and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, curious, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint #Helios
