Position : Assistant Procurement Manager – PC Global Collaborative Manufacturing Department : Supply Chain Location : Grha Unilever, Tangerang, Indonesia Main Job Purpose: Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) is growing in terms of scope and relevance for our Business.    Under the new Compass Organization, Procurement is hiring a Global CM Assistant Procurement Manager. This newly created role will report to the global CM procurement manager PC and global toothbrush procurement manager, been the Procurement business partner to Personal Care Business Group and product technologies under scope and the Global SC CM team on strategic projects. This role requires deep dive analytics, great understanding of continuous improvement plans, market scouting and supplier selection capabilities, as well as E2E SC understanding. What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be: Support in shaping the new PC CM supply network for a more efficient set up. Support portfolio strategy execution and reporting of all key initiatives. Ensure competitive buying through cost model analysis, benchmarking, and execution of buying strategy (ie. E-tender). Build strong relationship and work collaboratively with BU CM buyers and global portfolio buyer, ensuring products are delivered at an optimal cost, high quality and service and with compliance to Unilever’s responsibility sourcing. Lead buying/supply resilience initiatives and co-drive specs optimization/sustainability projects with R&D. Lead supplier scouting to boost our Premium /unmissable brand agenda . Support category strategies and work closely with cross functional teams (Planning, Sourcing Unit, R&D and Marketing) to deliver key projects. Foresee trends by staying close to market, communicate effectively with stakeholders. Consolidate, validate, and analyse global data related to key BG products (including toothbrush) under scope. Identify areas of opportunities for Value generation projects, including potential cross sourcing alternatives. Explore/ Scout market possibilities for new supply alternatives for key relevant technologies in the portfolio. Build market knowledge on trends, market capabilities, strategy shifts, geo-political influences to provide market insight to internal stakeholders and support strategic decision (bringing the outside in). Participate to the global products technology/format capacity allocation to deliver sustainable growth for the BG. What You Will Need To Succeed: Procurement professional with at least 3 years of experience across procurement operations and sourcing . Expertise is handling 3 rd parties manufacturing / packaging buying. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical capabilities (incl. finance) Strong ability in managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and deadlines, with strong analytical & negotiation skills and “can do” mentality. Financial acumen for business cases and reporting. Experience in Procurement transformation projects, tools, and technologies. Self-starter mentality Ability to interact with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Experience in Cross Functional working Experience and understanding of business processes and SAP systems. Appetite for change and eagerness to collaborating with stakeholders to drive change & improvements.
