JOB PURPOSE This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving supply resilience , enabling innovation , and optimizing procurement strategies . As Beauty & Wellbeing Procurement Coordinator (Mexico) , you will ensure supply continuity for Unilever’s operations in the country, supporting both in‑house manufacturing and Contract Manufacturers. Managing the B&W category, you will enable effective procurement strategies that support innovation, cost efficiency, and ongoing business growth. You will work closely with Marketing, R&D, Planning and Quality to ensure we have the right suppliers, materials, and sourcing strategies aligned with business needs. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Act as category business partner to support procurement’s contribution to margin and growth. Represent Procurement and ensure alignment between sourcing strategies and business/division priorities. Guardian of NMI , identifying NMCI top offenders, challenging cost increases, and minimizing financial impacts. Act as primary procurement contact for Beauty & Wellbeing suppliers in Mexico. Work closely with suppliers to ensure flawless service, quality and continuous improvement. Build and manage partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring full compliance. Support the development of material strategies across Global, Regional and Local portfolios. Monitor and improve overall performance of the supply network. Lead crisis management and develop contingency/resilience plans. Execute Value Creation Projects through savings and efficiency programs. Deliver bottom‑line savings in collaboration with Suppliers, R&D and Supply Chain. Lead procurement input for local innovations/innopricing , ensuring optimal strategies, cost optimization and reduced lead times for on‑time launches. Analyze and deeply understand supply markets and external factors affecting them. Maintain strong relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES University degree or higher education. Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.. Strong negotiation , influencing and interpersonal skills. Advanced English (written & verbal). Expertise in Excel , PowerPoint , SAP . Excellent presentation and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset. Enjoy working in virtual and multicultural environments. Strong collaboration/stakeholder management skills. Passion for innovation and change. High initiative and digital awareness.
