What will you do: Conduct comprehensive credit assessments for both individual and corporate HP loan applications. Ensure that credit requests are processed within the designated turnaround time, adhering to FSMY’s credit policies and lending guidelines. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with hire purchase agreements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams and customers. Mentor and provide guidance to junior credit analysts. Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit policies, procedures, and risk assessment methodologies. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic conditions impacting the hire purchase market. Ad-hoc assignments and other responsibilities delegated by the supervisor from time to time. At least  1  year of experience in loan processing or evaluation within the financial services industry or a financial institution, concentrate on Hire Purchase product. Proven track record of managing a portfolio of hire purchase accounts. Excellent understanding of credit principles, financial statements, and risk management concepts. Proficiency in credit analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities. Possess strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Ability to speak in other languages or dialects would be added advantage.
