Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for the position of Teacher Assistant for the academic year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty . As a Teacher Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting classroom management, providing assistance to teachers, and enhancing the learning experience for students. Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities, preparing materials, and maintaining an organized learning environment. Support individual students or small groups in their learning, reinforcing concepts and providing additional help as needed. Help to implement lesson plans and educational programs, contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere. Monitor student behavior and progress, assisting in the development of personalized learning strategies. Engage with students in recreational activities, promoting social and emotional development. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school initiatives. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive learning community. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in education or a related field is desirable. Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and support their learning needs. Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young learners. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting teachers and contributing to a positive classroom environment. Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy school environment. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
