Egypt Education Platform invites applications for the position of Learning Support Assistant for the academic year 2026-2027. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment and are seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic individual to assist students with unique learning needs at GEMS British International School of Madinaty . Key Responsibilities: Support students with diverse learning requirements by implementing tailored educational strategies and interventions. Assist in the development and maintenance of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students in need of additional academic support. Work alongside teachers to modify lessons and learning resources, ensuring accessibility for all students. Monitor and report on student engagement and progress, providing essential insights for instructional adjustments. Encourage positive social interactions and assist students in developing their communication skills during group activities. Keep informed of ongoing developments in educational practices related to special needs education. Contribute to a nurturing classroom atmosphere that values diversity and promotes student well-being. A degree or relevant qualification in Education, Special Education, or a related field. Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational role is highly desirable. Understanding of various learning disabilities and effective support techniques. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, educators, and parents. Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting individual student needs. Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic educational environment. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
