We are looking for a dynamic and driven Polytechnic / University undergraduate Intern to join our Financial Product team specializing in SME lending solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fintech, commercial banking, risk management and handling end-to-end lifecycle of lending products. Ideal candidates are pursuing diplomas / degrees in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Analytics, Data Science, or related fields and have a strong interest in banking, technology and customer-centric innovation. What you will do: Assist in the design, development, and optimisation of lending products and programmes. Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Credit, Operations, Data and Risk to ensure seamless product delivery. Participate in creating and maintaining product documentation, including product specifications, business initiatives and implementation plans. Support product performance monitoring by analysing key metrics and preparing report: Gain hands-on experience in data analytics, applying analytical techniques to optimise processes and drive strategic decision-making. Data Extraction & Processing: Collect, clean, and transform datasets using SQL, Snowflake, and Qlik to generate actionable insights. ⁠⁠Cloud Data Management: Leverage Snowflake for data storage, transformation, and querying in a cloud-based environment. Data Interpretation & Insights: Analyse complex datasets and present findings to stakeholders to facilitate strategic business decisions. ⁠Collaboration & Optimization: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and improve data workflows for enhanced efficiency. Help enhance customer journey experiences by identifying and addressing pain points in the lending process. Any other ad hoc tasks assigned. Must have: Currently pursuing a diploma / degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. Career Interest in financial services, banking, fintech or product management. Basic knowledge of lending products or a willingness to learn. Proficient in data analysis tools like Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar business analytics platforms. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Nice to have: Familiarity with SME businesses in Southeast Asia and SME financing concepts Comfortable with software and coding skills such as Figma, Qlik, Snowflake, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, R, Excel VBA
