Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team. This role is essential for managing the procurement processes within our educational institutions, ensuring that we acquire high-quality goods and services in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities: Execute procurement activities by sourcing and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and purchasing supplies, equipment, and services in compliance with organizational policies. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings based on quality, price, and delivery terms. Maintain and manage relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and quality standards are met. Monitor inventory levels and forecast future procurement needs to avoid shortages or overstock situations. Prepare purchase orders and contracts while ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints. Assist in the evaluation and selection of the most suitable suppliers, and manage the performance of existing suppliers through regular assessments. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide efficient solutions to meet those needs. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and update procurement databases accordingly. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with procurement software is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Fluency in English is essential, with knowledge of additional languages being a plus.
