  Your Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities) Handling tax compliance of AEW and its Saudi based affiliates – some by self, some through ‘service level agreements’ (SLA) and some through external tax advisor. (If required) Preparing and submitting zakat return, VAT return, WHT return, objection and appeal letter of AEW and its Saudi based affiliates. Dealing with ZATCA (tax authority) and GSTC (tax courts) and their respective electronic portals. Assisting Reporting Manager and CFO in carrying out tax planning, implementing tax strategies and addressing tax implications of day-to-day transactions and projects. Handling tax litigations, tax appeals, and tax objections. Handling tax matters of bidding projects. Oversee zakat and tax matters of AEW and its project companies. 5+ years of broad-based accounting/reporting and zakat/tax experience, including minimum 3 years zakat/tax experience preferably in utilities industry.
