Job Purpose: This role will analyze deal profitability across the Sony Music Publishing catalog and identify best practices to replicate and enhance profitability.  By utilizing both internal and third-party data, the Manager will provide strategic profitability analysis and drive improvement and insight throughout the organization. What You’ll Do: Leverage warehoused data and business intelligence platforms to generate comprehensive reports on royalty and investment metrics for stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison with information technology teams to design and implement systematic profitability tracking solutions. Develop and present profitability analyses by genre and country; facilitate discussions with stakeholders to support investment portfolio management and provide insight into recent activities. Monitor global investment portfolio performance across genres and country for Sony Group Corporation reporting requirements. Maintain a database of global deal structures, terms and underlying growth assumptions; communicate evolving market conditions to stakeholders. Conduct post-investment reviews of major acquisitions for reporting to Sony Group Corporation. Evaluate deals with the highest outstanding advance balances and commitments in collaboration with stakeholders.
