Job Title: Bakery/Food Prep  Job Location : Too Sweet Cakes, Phoenix Job Type : Part-Time (25-30 hrs/week) Number of Openings: 2 Shift Options : 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm Pay : $17-18/hr Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and efficient Bakery/Food Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing a variety of savory dishes, assisting in food preparation, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring all ingredients are ready for service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities: Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with teammates in a professional manner to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen. High-Paced Environment: Maintain an organized approach while working quickly and effectively in a busy kitchen. Sanitation & Cleanliness: Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, equipment, and customer seating areas, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene. Stocking & Restocking: Lift and restock supplies, and assist with unloading weekly deliveries to ensure the kitchen is always well-stocked. Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes accurately, ensuring each step is completed to perfection for consistent food quality. Order Preparation: Read and interpret order slips, preparing savory dishes as directed with attention to detail. Equipment Use: Safely demonstrate and use kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, and other necessary tools for food preparation. Dishwashing & Cleaning: Perform light dishwashing duties and clean up your work area after preparing food. Food Labeling & Rotation: Wrap, label, and date food items, adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) food rotation practices to ensure freshness. Team Support: Be a helpful and positive coworker, supporting team members and contributing to an overall positive work environment. Additional Tasks: Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Previous kitchen experience or food prep experience is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced kitchen. Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team-oriented mindset. Willingness to perform various kitchen tasks and assist team members as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when restocking or unloading supplies. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and engage in repetitive movements in food prep and cleaning tasks
