This is an ongoing   internship;   it will begin   immediately   and continue throughout the year. We are looking for a commitment of at least 24 hours per week throughout the semester   a nd full time during the Summer.   This is an in-person internship   at our 25 Madison office in New York City   with a commitment of over one year.      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare various tax returns and supporting schedules ( sales & use tax, B&O, resale certificates, exemption certificates ).   Assist   with information gathering and work paper organization.   Assist   in implementing   new technology   for data analysis, data   gathering   and reporting.   Perform other tax compliance and administrative duties as assigned by management.   Qualifications Must be enrolled in a college or University .   Undergraduate Accounting majors preferred .   Students entering their sophomore or junior year of college   highly   preferred .   Excellent communication,   analytical   and organizational skills .   Proficiency   in Microsoft Excel and Word .   Self-starter .   Ability to work in a team environment .   Ability to handle many priorities/functions .   Flexible hours, preferably a minimum of 24 hours per week .   All candidates must   be authorized to   work in the USA .   The target hourly rate for this internship is $21.00 per hour.
