BI Analyst (Team Lead) For DX Solutions & Technology Location: Budapest, Hungary The BI Analyst Team Leader will be a leader of a team of business analysts who support the business to manage, automate and streamline their data requirements and develop and present insights that drive business decision making. Whether it be understanding market behaviour, seller performance or logistics processes this role will be responsible for ensuring the data is gathered in the most efficient and effective manner using the modern data lake, automation and Business Intelligence tools and languages. A key requirement of the role is to ensure all reporting and the accompanying business analysis is accurate and delivered in a timely manner to bring maximum benefit to the business, while also managing and developing a team of 3–5 people. A BI Analyst Team Leader is responsible for designing and maintaining business intelligence solutions as well as manage and drive business stakeholder’s expectation and requirements. The BI Analyst Team Leader is also expected to be a member of the DX Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence, being an advocate of best practice ways of working seamlessly joining business understanding with end-to-end development and solutioning. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Delivery Ownership Lead and support a formal team of 3–5 BI Analysts Own BI delivery standards and day-to-day prioritization within the team Coordinate workload, timelines, and delivery across BI initiatives Set individual objectives aligned with business goals and monitor performance against them Plan, prioritise, and allocate work effectively to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met while ensure outputs are accurate, consistent, and delivered in a timely manner Coach team members and support capability development Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and development discussions Stakeholder Management Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and BI developers/data engineers Closely cooperate with business analysts and stakeholders advising data availability, sources and solutions. Engage confidently with senior European and regional leaders Translate business needs into clear analytical and technical requirements Present insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences Continuous structured communication to be conducted with business stakeholder and BI Developer teams containing changes, developments, project statuses and relevant statuses linked to deliverables. Attend to stakeholder meetings, development request clarification events. Liaise with variety of business stakeholders and business analysts to understand the relative priorities and manage the demand pipeline and requirements from the business. Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Power BI Governance & Best Practices Co-own Power BI governance elements, including workspace structure and dataset usage Ensure adherence to Power BI best practices (data modelling, DAX, performance) Oversee report lifecycle management from development to production Ensure consistency, quality, and performance of BI solutions Use best possible technologies / solutions to provide optimisation related to Dataset, Dataflow and their visualization Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes, tools and reports. Ensure that data quality and governance are positive contributors to stakeholders’ processes. BI Development & Analytics Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Deliver performance reporting and analysis Support customer behaviour analysis and segmentation based on stakeholder guidelines Perform data analysis and preparation using SQL, Python, and Databricks (analyst-level usage) Ensure data is available, collected, stored and prepared in the most efficient and effective manner, utilising tooling such as MS SQL, Databricks (+Python), Power Automate and Power BI platform. Ensure all products, whether developed personally or by a third party adhere to company development standards and undergo any necessary QA checks and processes. You will bring: Strong experience as a BI Analyst or BI Developer with a relevant college / university degree. 2–3 years of people leadership or team lead experience Strong Power BI knowledge (data modelling, DAX, performance optimization) Hands-on SQL, Python, MS PowerAutomate, Power Platforms experience Databricks experience at analyst level (analysis, notebooks, data preparation) Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience supporting Pan-European or multi-country stakeholders Excellent organizational & time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize.
