To learn more: www.sony.com/en .   This role is an approximately 4 Month Temporary Assignment.     Position Summary    Sony Corporation of America (SCA)   is seeking a   Procurement Analyst   to assist with creating and processing purchase orders, and maintaining documentation related to purchases and contracts.   The term will be approximately 4 months (early   Apr . 202 6   –   mid   Feb. 2026). This team member would be required to work from the   Reston,VA   office 3 days a week.     This position will be a part of the team responsible for conducting procurement operations that support activities to secure Sony’s information assets, services, and   products   that depend on them, building trust with customers and stakeholders, and protecting the privacy of Sony’s customers and employees.   This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the   Reston, VA   Office .    Job Responsibilities   Meet with   internal business   stakeholders to understand their projects and advise on best procurement practices.    Review Procurement Intake Forms   and budget s   for requested purchases.   Request quotes from vendors,   and   follow-up with them to   discuss projects, pricing, terms, etc.    C onduct price analys e s, negotiate pricing/discounts, and make vendor/reseller recommendations.    Draft contract documentation for the requested purchases,   and then coordinate   with   v endors,   as well as   SCA   Legal, Privacy and Info rmation S ec urity   teams to finalize contracts and launch documents for signatures.     Provide onboarding documents to vendors and   coordinate   with Accounts Payable   Dept   to complete the vendor set - up in S A P.    Approve/Create Purchase Requests in   SCA’s   Self-Service Procurement (SSP) system.    Assist end users with SSP related issues   and conduct   SSP training when necessary.   Maintaining physical and electronic documents, shared files, correspondence and request s   for clarification, according to established   data handling   procedures.    Maintaining the SCA contract database and send ing   reminders to stakeholders regarding upcoming renewals.    Supporting senior procurement personnel with   various   procurement, financial, and administrative activities   .   Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above .     Job Qualifications   One to two years of experience in purchasing or   sourcing   preferred   Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task    Ability to work under pressure while practicing good judgment   Strategic in goal achievement    Proactive in problem solving skills   Strong organizational and communication skills   SAP experience preferred   Proficient in Microsoft Office   Excellent interpersonal skills    All candidates must be authorized    to work in the USA     Benefits SCA offers benefits-eligible fixed-term employees (who are scheduled to work 30 or more hours a week) certain benefits under the Sony Corporation of America Health and Welfare Benefits Plan.
