Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron’s Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires, is accepting applications for the position of Workday Application Engineer.  Successful candidates will join the IT Organization, which is part of a multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe. This position plays an active role in the software development lifecycle with a primary focus on maintaining Workday HCM, specifically in the Learning Management, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition modules. The role involves optimizing evergreen support (through configuration, automation, and integration) and supporting in-house developed applications. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Analyze and evaluate IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Design and implement efficient IT solutions to meet business requirements in collaboration with technical teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements. Perform system testing and validation procedures. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Maintain and update system documentation. Ensure data security and compliance with company policies. Build and support low code solutions. Build and/or enhance integrations with Workday HCM modules. Design, build, and maintain tools and integrations to support HR functions and provide data to other IT applications to meet business needs. Build data sets and visualization using standard tools, primarily Workday Report Writer. Build data quality scripts necessary for data integrity across environments (SIT/Dev/UAT/Prod). Required Qualifications: Hands-on experience developing or supporting solutions using Workday HCM, specifically in Learning Management, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition modules. Proficient communication and facilitation skills with the ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience. Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage difficulties with persistence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Report Writer. Ability to communicate with business to understand, gather, and document requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Agile methodologies. Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and API integrations. Experience with SaaS applications. Familiarity with integration patterns (API, Messaging). Experience with BIRT. Knowledge of Workday Extend. Technical Competencies: Application Maintenance Release Management System and Technology Integration Technical Troubleshooting Testing Professional Competencies: Analytical Thinking Business Acumen Learning Agility Relocation Options: Relocation could be considered.   International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
