Total Number of Openings 1 Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issues. Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices. Financial Statements: Compile and analyze data for balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS. Review and adjust reports. Tax Accounting: Calculate and record tax liabilities. Prepare and file tax returns. Stay updated on tax laws. Provisions: Record provisions for liabilities. Reflect provisions in statements. Review and adjust regularly. Financial Analysis: Perform analyses for management. Inform business decisions. Develop cross-functional partnerships. Client Support: Support larger clients and lead projects. Develop detailed work function knowledge. Required Experience and Qualifications: University degree in Finance or Accounting, with 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Financial Statements. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. A proactive, growth‑oriented mindset, with the willingness to explore and adopt new technologies that drive innovation. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and automation platforms like Power Apps is preferred. Previous experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments. Demonstrated critical thinking skills. Flexibility and adaptability to change. Ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. Team‑oriented approach, combined with proactive leadership capabilities. Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
