As an IFRS Accounting Specialist , your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Working in close collaboration with senior accountants and finance professionals, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting. You will also be involved in the ongoing monitoring and review of the Balance Sheet, supporting consistency across financial data. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of financial statements in full compliance with IFRS standards on an annual basis. Provide support during the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations Conduct research on accounting issues and provides recommendations based on IFRS guidelines Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external auditors throughout the financial audit process. Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects, analyses, and reporting initiatives as required. Perform IFRS adjustments, with a strong focus on IFRS 16 (leases). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles. Prior experience in a Big 4 firm will be considered an advantage. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, will be considered a plus Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
