As part of its development  Volton  strengthens its human resources in  Athens or Heraklion Crete and seeks an Energy Supply Specialist. Responsibilities Purchase electricity and natural gas in wholesale market in order to cover customers’ needs Identify of best company strategies aiming to the minimization of wholesale market cost Company supply cost budget formulation Develop of low and medium voltage load forecasting tools End customers cost analysis and pricing Follow-up of current Greek and European energy legislation and regulation, ensuring company’s compliance Handle and validate of incoming supply charges data and settlements Cost of purchased electricity and natural gas analysis & reporting Develop necessary tools for supply reasons Participate in Hellenic Energy Exchange (HEnEx) energy markets Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor in Natural Sciences or Mathematics Master’s degree in Energy or Finance is a plus At least 2 years of previous professional experience in energy sector companies Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office) Basic knowledge of programming languages (SQL, VBA, Python, R, MATLAB) Fluency in English, both oral and written Personal Skills Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work effectively under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills
