Position Summary In your role as a Photo Process Technician you’ll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. You'll also use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Collecting and evaluating operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively. Troubleshooting: Conducting failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures. Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: Associates degree or other technical certification. Experienced Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent). or 4 years equivalent technical Military service. 2+ years prior work experience Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation Familiar with TPM concepts All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.  We are not currently accepting applications for candidates who currently, or in the future, will need visa sponsorship. ​ The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. Day Shifts Include: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays Total Rewards At Samsung SAS, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
